Grace Jackson-Templeton

Grace Jackson-Templeton beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at her residence. Age 79 years. She was born September 23, 1931 in Sunflower, Mississippi to Myrtle Travier and Will Truss.
Grace enjoyed bingo, fishing, playing cards and visiting with friends.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband Sammie Templeton; eight children, Calvin (Barbara) White, Pearlie Webb, Houston (Elaine) Jackson, Ophelia, Doris, Roger, Jimmie (Aleisa) Jackson, all of Saginaw, MI, Andre Jackson, Lansing, MI; eight step-children; one sister, Robert Clair (James) Banks, Saginaw, MI; thirty-one grandchildren, including four special grandchildren, Shatoris Jackson, De Wondre Payton and two whom she raised, Shanell and Cedric Jackson, Saginaw, MI; thirty-two great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends including special friends, Lizzie Barney, Lillie Harris and Rudolph Payton. The family would like to express a special thanks to Dr. O, Dr. Karu, nurse Linda and American Home Care.
She was preceded in death by two children, Gracie and Derry Joe Jackson; four sisters; two brothers; two great-great grandsons, Steven and Tarrance Humes.
