Mr. Gregory Deon Cole passed away Sunday, October 15, 2023, in Ionia, Michigan. Age 34 years. He is the son of Shirley Cole and Gregory Davis and was born on Sunday, October 30, 1988, in Jackson, Mississippi.

Gregory lived in Lansing, Michigan. He earned his GED and was employed at Meijer Warehouse as a production worker. Gregory loved playing basketball and hanging with his homeboys. He also enjoyed listening to music and working out, including lifting weights.

He leaves to cherish his memory his sons, Tayvion Gregory Jean’Pierre and Gregory Deon Cole, Jr.; parents, Shirley Cole and Gregory Davis; grandparents, Mabel Gentry and Willie C. Cole; 4 sister, Atlantae Cole, Shavantae Wheeler, Jada Nevels, and Ajah Davis-Curtis; 2 brothers, Leonard Cole and Jabontae Davis; aunts, Rozillia Davis, Hazel M. Washington, Jennifer (Larry) Jackiewicz, Floyd (Tameka) Powell, Audrey Rabb, Wilma Davis, Bonnie Strong, Doll Baby and Bremal Beck; uncles, Frankie Cole, willie C Cole, William Leo Cole, Bernard Davis and Henry (Virginia) Davis; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends including Shamari Allen, Jeanel Jean’Pierre and Breonna Rogers.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wesley and Saddie Davis; sister, Katherine Cole; aunts, Leaella Cole, Mable Cole and Maxine Brooks; uncles, Tommy Cole, James Cole, Gene Davis, Wesley Davis, Jr., Leroy (Louise) Davis, Louis Brady and James M. Davis.
