Our beloved son, brother, nephew, cousin and friend, Gregory Bernard Works, affectionately known as G-Weezy, passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at Covenant Healthcare-Cooper at the age of 32 years. The Lord sent his angel to escort the soul of Gregory works G-Weezy into the Kingdom of Heaven. Greg was born August 22, 1982 in Saginaw, Michigan to Rosa Sutton and Willie Works.
Gregory enjoyed watching TV and eating pizza. He loved to laugh and joke around with his cousins. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends. Gone but never forgotten, his presence will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his devoted mother, Rosa Sutton; four brothers, Askia and Frederick Sutton of Saginaw, Michigan, Willie and Ronnie Trower of Brooklyn, New York; three sisters, Shameka Adams and Jessica Sutton of Rockledge, Florida, and Rhonda (Mark) Bryant of Saginaw, Michigan; many nieces, nephews and cousins, including special cousins, Jamarcus Coleman, Adrain, Quay Johnson; loving aunts and uncles, Carrie (Willie) Whitley, Mary (Charles) Helton, Thelma(Robert) Harrison, James (Debra) Sutton, Aggie (Evelyn) Sutton, Ruby Winston, Clara Johnson, Jessie Avery, Lizzie Works, Moses Works and Mary Sutton all of Saginaw, Michigan; Robert (Patricia) Sutton and Anna Sutton of Cleveland, Ohio, Velar Sutton of Union Springs, Alabama; Rosa Conover of Lakewood, New Jersey; many other relatives and friends including special friends, Lally Burton, Corey Simmons, Dedrick Boles, Devon Johnson, Will Head, Brittany Boles, Dan Martin, and friends in the Buena Vista community.
Gregory was preceded in death by his father, Willie Works and grandparents, Rosa and Joe Sutton and Mary and Tom Works.
