Ms. Gwendolyn Mason, Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Friend, passed away on Friday, October 22, 2021 at Covenant HealthCare Cooper. She was born May 20, 1950 in Saginaw, Michigan to Winston, Sr. and Ernestine Mason.
Gwendolyn was a resident of Saginaw, Michigan. She enjoyed playing cards, softball league games and was an avid sports fan. Gwendolyn was a great cook and she loved barbequing. She was the “rock of the family.” Gwen will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She leaves to cherish her memory three daughters and one son, Kimberly Mason, Lynn Mason, Shardae Mason, Demetrius Mason, all of Saginaw, Michigan; a special nephew who was like a son, Dantae Tyson, Saginaw, Michigan; grandchildren, Desirae Mason, Kaelyn Linzsey, Lauren Linzsey, Aubrey Linzsey, and Josiah Mason, all of Saginaw, Michigan, Darius Mason, Canton, Michigan, Charmaine Burrell and Jermaine Burrell of Saginaw, Michigan; great-grandchildren, Clarence Galsper, Major Mason, Layla Mason, Zoie Mason and Keyontae Burrell; sisters, Debra Tyson (Henry Franklin), and Christine Mason, Saginaw, Michigan; brothers, Steve (Pamela) Mason, Harper, Colorado and Mark Mason, Saginaw, Michigan; two uncles, Gary Noel, and Donald (Patricia) Noel, both of Saginaw, Michigan, many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends including special friends, Helen Bailey and Sylvia Mason.
Gwendolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Winston and Ernestine Mason, Sr., son, Michael Mason, brothers, Winston Mason, Jr., Terry Mason, sister, Lynn Mason and dear friend, Jackie Pought.
