Mr. Harold Jerome Doss, beloved husband, father, brother and friend went home to be with his Heavenly Father on Monday, May 21, 2012. Age 55 years. He was born October 28, 1956 in Baltimore, Maryland to Amos and Virginia Doss.
Harold was a 1975 graduate of Saginaw High School. After graduation, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corp. He was retired from General Motors in 2000 after many years of service. Harold enjoyed repairing small engines, doing lawn care, barbequing and having family gatherings in the yard. He loved spending time with his family and friends.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Helen D. Fleming Doss; three sons, Kari Turner, Tobaris Doss, James Doss; four sisters, Jeanette Dudley, Sharon Doss, Monica Blackmon, Theresa Doss; one brother, Terell Doss; twenty-three nieces; twelve nephews; one aunt, Lucy Smith; mother and father in law, Mr. and Mrs. James Flemings, Mrs. Annie Kelly; three sisters-in-law, Sarah Campbell, Cynthia L. Taylor, Mary Doss; three brothers-in-law, Karl W. Bruce, Edmond Taylor, Anthony Blackmon; many other relatives and friends including special cousins, Wendell Smith, David Farrior, William Kelly; special friends, Stanley Powell, Leroy McFadden, Elliot Lee, Michael Jacobs, Brian McGill, Louis ONeal, Tony Jackson.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Amos and Virginia Doss; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jake Thompson, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Hayes Sr.; stepmother, Joan Doss; one brother, Thomas Hayes Jr.; two nieces, Claretta Doss, Miracle Doss; one brother-in-law, Eli Dudley; one uncle, Tommie Smith.
