Harry O'Daniels

Harry L. O?Daniels went home to glory in obedience to God?s command on Saturday, January 7, 2012 to join his beloved wife, Birdie Mae; devoted parents, Samuel and Molivia O?Daniels; his daughter, Janice O?Daniels; granddaughter, Shadana Bettis; brothers, Julius Cecil and Luther Melvin O?Daniels and sister, Delois Tyson.
Harry was born October 19, 1926, growing up in Blytheville, Arkansas and relocated to Saginaw with his family and other siblings. He was baptized at an early age and later joined Bethel AME Church.
He served with distinction in the United States Navy during World War II. He was employed at Saginaw Grey Iron foundry for 39 years and a member of UAW Local 668. His greatest love, pride and joy were his large family and he would spend his time sharing his jokes and visiting with them at every opportunity.
Harry leaves to cherish his memory his children, Elizabeth (Joseph) Sessom, Eula (Clifford) McDole, Jacqueline Tolliver, Harry L. O?Daniels Jr., James (Carol) O?Daniels; two brothers, Clinzo (Lessie), Norman (Edith) O?Daniels; five sisters, Viola Bailey, Bessie (Eddie) Peoples, Sarah Young, Samearl Johnson, Barbara Jackson; aunt, Lucille Bradford; uncle, Joseph Norman; 15 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren; many other wonderful relatives and friends.
