Ms. Hattie Lee Oliver our beloved mother, grandmother, sister and aunt went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at St. Mary's of Michigan Medical Center. Age 60 years. She was born May 25, 1954 in Greenville, Mississippi to Lacey Lee Oliver and Jessie Mae Galvin.
Hattie enjoyed spending time with her family, watching television and knitting. She had a loving heart and loved feeding people.
Hattie leaves to cherish her memory three daughters, Denise Meyers, Tracy Lee Oliver and Octavia Oliver; two sons Lacey Lee Oliver and Matthew Oliver; ten grandchildren, including a special grandson Elmo; five great-grandchildren; six sisters, Rosie Oliver, Barbara Galvin, Angela Galvin, Louise Oliver, Lena (Danny) Monroe and Diane Galvin; five brothers, Michael (Cynthia) Galvin, Carl (Brenda) Galvin, Eddie Oliver, Larry and Freddie Galvin; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Hattie was preceded in death by her parents, Lacey Lee Oliver and Jessie Mae Galvin; three sisters, Eloise Oliver, Jessie Mae Oliver and Linda Lou Galvin; one brother, Allen Galvin.
The Family would like to express a special thank you to the 7th Floor staff at St. Mary?s of Michigan Medical Center ICU Unit.
