Heather Jackson (Lansing)

Mrs. Heather Jackson passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at University of Michigan Health Sparrow Hospital, Lansing, Michigan, at the age of 42 years old. She was born on Monday, June 21, 1982, in Alma, Michigan to parents, Robert and Marilyn Garrett.  

Heather loved God and attended Life Christian Church in Holt, Michigan. She was employed by McDonald’s. She enjoyed playing bingo and video games. She also enjoyed music and singing along with the songs. In addition, Heather was selfless, charitable, kind, understanding, and she was sometimes mean when showing tough love and strength when it was needed. 

Heather leaves to cherish her memory, husband, Christopher Jackson; sons, Alphonso Davis, William Davis, and Christiano Jackson; father, Robert Garrett; sister, Jolene Nisonger; nieces, Megan Hopp, Samantha Hopp, Gracie D. and Bethany Mead; nephews, Joshua Hopp, Jason Hopp, Isaiah and Issac; aunts, Brenda Lilly, Barbara Bryan and Lois Button; uncles, Bill Garrett, Carter Garrett, Ronald Garrett and Donald Garrett; mother-in-law, Christine Harris; father-in-law, Kevin Jackson; and sisters-in-law, Leedon Jackson and Britany Harris; brother-in-law, Eric Nisonger; many other relatives and friends.

Heather was preceded in death by her mother, Marilyn Garrett; grandparents, William and Virginia Garrett, and Ted and Lila Lilly; Mae and Bob Lowery, Deborah Sperry, Earl Lilly, Donald Lilly, and Margaret Mae Lilly.
