Mr. Henry Mathew Kostin passed away Sunday, November 3, 2019 at Hospice of Lansing, Stoneleigh Residence in Lansing, Michigan. Age 85 years. The son of Mathew and Charlotte Kostin; he was born in Wayne, Michigan.
Henry lived in several cities in Michigan: Livonia, Honor, Milford and finally Lansing. He earned an engineering degree and worked at Ford Motor Company until his retirement. Henry loved sports and was very athletic. He played many sports including basketball, hockey and his true love, golf. Henry spend many years as a hockey coach for all ages from 5 years old to adult players. He even scouted for the Junior Red Wings hockey team. Henry was an avid hunter and loved the outdoors. He was a loving father and caring grandfather.
He leaves to cherish his memory his daughters, Denise (John) Outlaw, Karin (Tom) Chandler and Ann (Kelvin) Kostin-McGill; grandchildren, Matthew Chandler, Phoenix, Arizona, Garrett Chandler, Chicago, Illinois, Kiaira McGill and McKenzi McGill, both of Lansing, Michigan; other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mathew and Charlotte Kostin and his wife, Doris Kostin.
