Henry was a lifelong resident of Saginaw, Michigan and attended Saginaw Public Schools. He accepted Christ at an early age. Henry was employed for several years at General Motors. He enjoyed singing and dancing, especially with his group The Darrells. The group recorded the song Tender Love. Henry enjoyed visiting with his family and friends bright and early in the morning. He was very detailed in his conversations. His presence will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He leaves to cherish his memory one daughter, Tammy Nash Rodgers, Saginaw, Michigan; grand-children, Brandy and Wesley Nash, Saginaw, Michigan; great-grandchildren, Jessica Donald and Wesley Nash Jr., Saginaw, Michigan; his mother, Jennie Mae Haines-Lee; one sister, Mary Frances Champion; three brothers, Harold Lee, Saginaw, Michigan, Elliott Lee, Atlanta, Georgia, Frederick (Rhonda) Lee, St. Louis, Missouri; one aunt, Ola Mae Haines, St. Louis, Missouri; special nieces and nephews, Valerie, Deborah, Kenneth, Michael, Jeanette and Cassandra Champion; several cousins including the Haines and Tate families; many other relatives and friends including special friends Errie Dean McAfee, the Remington Street neighbors and the Eastside Soup Kitchen.
