Mr. Herman Webster departed this earthly life for his place in the Kingdom of Heaven on Sunday, March 8, 2015 of the age of 73 years. He was born December 20, 1941 in Detroit, Michigan to Daniel and Ethel Webster.
Herman accepted Christ as his personal Savior at an early age. He served his country with the United States Army, receiving an Honorable Discharge. He was employed with GM Powertrain formerly known as Saginaw Grey Iron Foundry and was a member of UAW Local 668. Herman retired after 30 years of faithful service. He was a member of Narcotics Anonymous since March 27, 1988. Herman was employed with HNI where he served as a sponsor. On August 24, 2003 he joined Jacqueline Green in holy matrimony. She survives him. Herman loved traveling and spending time with his family and friends. He was a sports fan who enjoyed basketball and football. His presence will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Jacqueline Webster; six daughters, Virginia J. McQueen, Dorothy L. McQueen, Kenya R.D. Campbell, Erica D. Johnson, Miracle V. Campbell and Kimberlyn K. Campbell; three sons, McKinley J. Wilfong, Isaac D. Campbell and Isaiah C. Campbell; seven grandchildren; one sister, Peggy Bolden; two brothers, Ronnell Webster and Roy Webster; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; father-in-law, Tommy Green; many other relatives and friends including his special friends, John Norwood, Kevin Bradley and Roger Jackson.
Herman was preceded in death by his parents, Ethel and Daniel Webster, mother-in-law, Queen Green and one brother, Ellen Webster.
The family wishes to express special thanks to everyone who offered kinds words, condolences and prayers. Your expressions of love are truly appreciated.
