On the morning of November 8, 2021, the golden gates opened for Mr. Hubert James Hoking Jr. He was 35 years old. Hubert was born in Saginaw, Michigan on August 10, 1986, to Constance and Vernon Nelson.
Hubert “Tuck” enjoyed basketball, family, music, watching his children encounter their goals such as “basketball, football, cheerleading, volleyball, TikTok and entrepreneur-ship”. He wrote and released a CD. Tuck was a very charismatic, free-spirited, outgoing, outspoken, loving, and caring young man.
Tuck was full of brotherly love by bullying his sister, (Stahr), which explains their strong, unbreakable, brotherly/sisterly bond. Tuck was a loving, strong, brother, and father who loved his children with every breath he had. He and Vernon had a very unique loving bond that only the two of them understood. Tuck’s expressions of love were reciprocated by many. One being his grandmother, Johnetta. Tuck earned his GED and received an Associate degree in Applied Science from Jackson College. He is a Certified NCCER Core Instructor for Skilled Trades and has also successfully completed Harm Reduction Certification. Tuck was a motivational influencer, mentor, and speaker. He was employed at Foundation Steel, and was a student at Foundation
