Hurshel Granberry

Mr. Hurshel Granberry Jr. passed away Saturday, December 15, 2012 at Heartland Healthcare Center. Age 57 years. He was born August 16, 1955 in Saginaw, Michigan to Hurshel Sr. and Ever Presley-Granberry.Hurshel lived life to the fullest every day. His favorite pastimes were watching movies, walking, spending time outdoors and riding his bike. Every Sunday he looked forward to dressing up and going to church. Playing the drums and bongos was his livelihood. Hurshel loved spending time with his family. He always brought a smile to everyone he met. His presence will be missed by all who knew and loved him.He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Ever D. Granberry; one sister, Betty Wicker; one brother, Gregory (Stephanie) Granberry; one niece, Takisha Granberry, Charlotte, North Carolina; four nephews, Quinton Snow, Jason Macon, Jovan Granberry, Randy Nash; one aunt, Billie Granberry, Memphis, Tennessee; many other relatives and friends including special friends, Jackie Lawrence, Reginald, Adrianne and Carletta Williams.Hurshel was preceded in death by his father, Hurshel Granberry Sr.; grandparents, Jesse and Jessie Granberry, Eugene and Leona Presley Sr.; one brother-in-law, Cornel Wicker.The family would like to express special thanks to Heartland Healthcare Center, Hospice of Saginaw, Michigan, Ivan E.
