Ms. Ida Frances Ledbetter our mother, grandmother and sister, passed away Friday, July 22, 2011 at Arrowhead Healthcare in Jonesboro, Georgia. Age 61 years. She was born March 7, 1950 in Argo, Illinois to Fred and Elizabeth Ledbetter.
Ida was a very smart and creative person that loved to write, do puzzles, crochet and cook. She had a style of her own. She loved her grandkids and actually thought SaVonne was her child and not her grandchild. She wrote a book that will soon be published called The Homeless Heart.
She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Tanisha Ledbetter-Smith; two sons, Everett LaSahun and Timothy D. Ledbetter; grandchildren, Damon Ledbetter, Savonne Monae Osborne, Brandon Ledbetter, Everette Perez, Ophelia Perez-Ledbetter, Samantha Ledbetter, Ramon Ledbetter, Alicia Jones; sister, Rhonda Ledbetter (Chuck); brothers, Nathaniel Ledbetter, Tim Ledbetter, Greg Ledbetter, Norwood Ledbetter, Anthony Ledbetter; aunt, Lillian Ledbetter; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Preceding her in death and waiting for her in heaven are her parents, Fred (Elizabeth) Ledbetter; brothers, Frederick Ledbetter, Dennis Ledbetter and Fiance, Lloyd Gibson.
