Mrs. Imogene (Price) Davis went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 30, 2011 at her residence. Age 79 years. She was born March 27, 1932 in Chattanooga, Tennessee to Bill and Mildred Price.
Imogene was an active member of Christ Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church. She was retired from Saginaw Board of Education. Imogene was an avid reader and enjoyed fellowshipping with friends at Buena Vista Community Center and with the Golden Girls.
She leaves to cherish her memory four daughters and four sons, Lillian (Dewitt) Franklin, Vivian Lenora Webb, Clarice Taylor, Helen Beemon, Ronald Sr. (Barbara) Reece, Clifford Reece, Eddie Davis Jr., Troy Williams; 18 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; 5 sisters, Ann Darby, Margaret (Will) Jackson, Mildred (Morris) Valley, Juanita Jones, Margaret (Audrain) King; 1 brother, Alfred (Chanta) Price; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends including special friends, Fred Wheeler, Ernest Burnell, Dr. Gary Brooks, Edith Holmes, Golden Girls and Buena Vista Community Center senior citizen friends.
Imogene was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Davis Sr.; sons, William H. Johnson and Walter Price; parents, Bill (Mildred) Price; brothers, William and Freeman Price and one sister, Wanda Brooks.
The family would like to express a special thanks to Shirley her care provider from Hospice, Covenant Healthcare-Mackinaw and Dr. Gary Brooks.
