Ms. Inez Stewart passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at N.H.C. Healthcare in Franklin, Tennessee. Age 70 years. She was born to William and Minnie Stewart on July 14, 1946 in Brookhaven, Mississippi.
Inez was a retiree of General Motors in Lansing, Michigan. She was a nurturer of people all of her life surrounding them with love, faith and music. In her free time, Inez would spend her days fishing, going to garage sales and spending time with her family and friends. Inez loved her life! She enjoyed her time laughing and being with others. She will truly be missed!
Left to honor Inez and remember her love are her five children, Letitia Stewart, Charlotte, North Carolina, Jeffery Jones, Tamy (Rolando) Gray all of Lansing, Michigan, Retina Hall, Clarksville, Tennessee and Stacy Stewart, Brentwood, Tennessee; six siblings, Sirpenia, Robert (Debra), William (Dorothy), John, Glen and Andrew all of Lansing, Michigan; 11 grandchildren, Tamesha, Shelton, Alycia, Theoplis (Denisha), Tarkeisha, Sharica, Tamara, Le’Angelo, Jenelle and Jarrod, several great-grandchildren, uncle, Joseph Magee, Lansing, Michigan; nieces, nephew, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Inez is predeceased by her parents, two sisters, Diane and Vera Stewart and her grandson, Detrick Stewart.
