Ms. Ingher “Moose” Darshay Burton gained her wings and went home to be with the Lord on July 2, 2022 in Lansing, Michigan. Age 55 years. She was born May 3, 1967 to her lovely mother, Micheal Ann Burton, and father, Robert Edwards.
Ingher was a resident of Saginaw, Michigan, where she attended Saginaw Public Schools and made many lifelong friends. She developed a love for sports, and participated in basketball and track & field. Ingher was a graduate of Arthur Hill High School, Class of 1986.
At age 13, a sudden and tragic event left Ingher and her brothers, Carl and Squeak, without their mother. Aunt Myrtle “Faye” Burton took her niece and nephews in. Ingher was raised with Myrtle’s three sons who treated her as their big sister. Aunt Myrtle and her siblings kept Ingher and her brothers together. Separation from the family was never an option. Aunt Myrtle also assisted Ingher with raising her four children. Although Ingher knew the Lord, in her later years she sought Him for herself. She completed the New Members Discipleship Class at Christ Image Community Church in May of 2019 under Pastors Eugene and Melissa Burton, and became a member of the church. Ingher was loved throughout her hometown and community. There were many different encounters, but Ingher always remained the same.
Her memory will be forever cherished by her children, Michael (Brittany) Burton , Mikla Burton, Myking (Ellexis) Burton, and Marquise Burton, all of Saginaw, Michigan; six grandchildren, Ka’Milah Imanii, MyKenzie Darshay , Kacyin Deshon James, Elias Ivory, MyKaela Ann, Jayon P., and Jaaziel Q., also of Saginaw, Michigan; five brothers, Carl , Aaron, Addison, Brian, and Rashon Burton, Saginaw Michigan; godbrother, Kevin Washington; three aunts, Myrtle, Runette, and Debra; one uncle, Troy Burton, Saginaw, Michigan; five sisters-in-law, Temieka, Candie McKnight, Tijuana, Maxine, and Angie Burton; eleven nieces; 7 nephews; many cousins, great-nieces and nephews; many other family and friends including special cousins, Shannon Swift and the Edwards family, Savette Burton-Jordan, Texas, Trina Burton , Larry Burton, and Bucket Burton.
Ingher was preceded in death by her mother, Micheal Ann Burton; father, Robert Edwards; grandparents, John (Ruth Gordon) Burton; aunts, Yvonne, Janice, Judy, and Melva Jean; uncles, John Jr “Moon,” and Roxie Burton.
