Ira "Bay Bro" Weathers, Jr.

Mr. Ira “Bay Bro” Weathers, Jr. passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at Covenant Healthcare Harrison. Age 62 years. He was born October 21, 1954 in Saginaw, Michigan to Ira, Sr. and Marie Weathers.

Bay Bro attended Saginaw Public Schools and graduated from Saginaw High School in 1972. He accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour at an early age. Bay Bro was employed by General Motors Delphi Plant 6 and was a member of UAW Local 699. He loved motorcycles, fast cars, playing poker, and dominoes. Bay Bro was a long time member of the Sons of Zodiac Motorcycle Club where he loved spending his time. He loved his family very much most of all. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He leaves to cherish loving memories his two daughters, Latosha and Namaia Weathers of Saginaw, Michigan; two step-children, Nakia Weems and Natisha (McConnie) Sanders; six grandchildren, Lataya, Taevion, and Viontae Thomas, Amir Gibbs, Jade Sanders, and Kai Riley, all of Saginaw, Michigan; two sisters, Rutha (Bruce) McGlory and Catherine (Columbus) Clayton; four brothers, Isaac (Sherry) Weathers, Larry (Pat) Frierson, Isiah (Colette) Weathers, and Jerome (Dawn) Weathers; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; two aunts, Rosemary Kirkwood, Chicago, Illinois and Shirley Weathers, Saginaw, Michigan; many other relatives and friends, including special friends, Rodney Robinson, god-brother, Gregory McClain.and special nephew, Jaymar Johnson.

Bay Bro was preceded in death by his grandparents Horace and Melissa Weathers; parents, Ira, Sr. and Marie Weathers; two sisters, Francis Canty and Barbara Jean Epperson.
