Ivri Laurice Marrell

Our beloved husband, father, and son, Ivri Laurice Marrell, departed this life on Monday, July 8, 2013. Age 43 years. Ivri was born February 22, 1970 in Lansing, Michigan to Morris Marrell and Charlene Evans.
Ivri was a lifelong resident of Lansing, Michigan graduating from J. W. Sexton High School. Affectionately known as Brother to family and I-Ball to friends, Ivri was famous for his cooking, loved riding his motorcycle, and spending quality time with family and friends, especially his grandbabies. He was known as the "BIG MAN" in charge and never took NO for an answer. Ivri was a devoted member of Lansing Church of God in Christ.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 10 years, Nicole Yvette Marrell; three daughters, Shaniqua Bowers-Marrell, Shante Nash, Keshylia Marrell; one son, Ivri Bowers; two step-daughters, Nikki Embry, Shawnice Austin; three grandchildren, SaNia Carthell, Noah Coker, JaNiyah Carthell; father, Morris (Claudette) Marrell; mother, Charlene Evans; one sister, Sharonda (Curtis) Stephens of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; one brother, Morris Marrell, Jr.; grandfather, Charles (Ardiner) Allen; nine nieces, two aunts, three uncles, four sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law; special cousins, Michael Marrell, Eckie Wright; special friends, Sheila Bernard, Eddie (Rosetta) Mallett, Monty Proffit, Geneva Wilder, the Walker Family, and many other relatives and friends.
Ivri was preceded in death by his grandparents, Sherman and Mary Marrell, great-grandmother, Willie Mae Calhoun, mother and father-in-law, Shirley and Edward Elliott, two uncles, three aunts, and one nephew.
