Jacob Buriel

Our beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, Jacob Buriel went home to be with his Heavenly Father on Friday, January 10, 2014 at St. Marys of Michigan Medical Center. Age 60 years. He was born November 1, 1953 in Saginaw, Michigan to Henry and Mary Burrell.
Jacob attended Saginaw High School and was a man of many trades: carpentry, painting and landscaping. He was a well-dressed, kind-hearted person who was always willing to lend a helping hand. His presence will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory one son, Jason (Felisa) Harris; five grandchildren, Michael C. Coleman II, Jason E. Harris Jr., Tyrease Bowens, Jalen Harris (J.J.) and Markus Hitchye; one godson, Kareem Swilley; five sisters, Lee Nickerson, Thelma Harris, Jean McElhaney, JoAnn Buriel and Connie Smith; his twin brother, Esau Buriel; several nieces, nephews and cousins including his special nephews, LeVail, Billy, Marvis and Darrell Jr.; many other relatives and friends including his close friends, Phillip (Alesha) Taylor and Faye.
Jacob was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Burrell and Henry Burrell Sr., five brothers, Willie L. Burrell, Varney Burrell, Henry Buriel Jr., David Buriel and Lloyd Burrell, five sisters, Dorthy M. Harris, Barbara J. Buriel, Mildred Buriel, Betty J. Buriel and Daisy B. Buriel, two special nieces, Celestine Harris Pooh and Whitney Phillips-Jackson.
