Jacqueline Hood Hatcher

Mrs. Jacqueline Delores Hood-Hatcher passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at Covenant Healthcare-Cooper. Age 61 years. She was born October 18, 1952 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi to M.C. and Cleopatra Hood.
Jacqueline attended Saginaw High School. She was employed at Vlassic Pickle Factory and the Golden Slipper Lounge. Jacqueline loved playing bingo and watching westerns. She had an outgoing and bubbly personality. Jacqueline was an outspoken wife, mother and grandmother who was loved by many. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She leaves to forever cherish her memory three daughters, Sharise Hood, Michelle (Elliott) Harris and Dianne Patra Hood; her grandchildren, LaVance, Roe Jr., Lavise, Chriss, Leviticus, LaVarreea, Cameron, Richard Jr., Dmitry, Rionne, Markeisha and KeShon; one sister, Dianne Hood; two nieces, Rosetta Hood and Aleisha Walker; two nephews, Lamar and Ronnie Hood; one aunt, Annie Jackson; two sisters-in-law, Ligaya Hood-Martin and Carol Hood; many other relatives and friends including special friends, the Abby and Jackson families.
Jacqueline was preceded in death by her husband, John Hatcher, parents, Cleopatra and M.C. Hood and two brothers, Thomas and Ronnie Hood.
The family wishes to express special thanks to Elaine Parham, Dianne Hood, Mary Hunter and the Covenant Healthcare staff for the extra compassion shown to our mother in her time of need.
