Ms. Jacqueline Jackie McIntyre passed away Monday, February 22, 2016 at McLaren Hospital in Lansing, Michigan. Age 59 years. Jacqueline McIntyre was born on December 31, 1956 to Mittie Keys in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
Jackie was a kind-hearted and fun-loving mother, daughter, sister and friend. Her laughter was infectious and she was the life of the party! She was a long time resident of Lansing, Michigan. Jackie was a proud 1975 graduate of Harry Hill High School. She attended Ferris State University, and worked for prestigious companies such as the State of Michigan, Urban League and Michigan State University.
She leaves to cherish her love and memory two daughters, Kiera McIntyre and Morgan McIntyre of Lansing, Michigan; two grandchildren, Christopher C.J. Cole and Kennedy D.D. Cole of Lansing, Michigan; her mother, Mittie Keys; five sisters, Cynthia Morrell and Phyllis Keys of Lansing, Michigan, Deborah Keys of Alexandria, Virginia, Karen (Cliff) Keys-Turner of Okemos, Michigan and Marjorie Keys Powell of Takoma Park, Maryland; one niece, Whitney Turner; eight nephews, Michael Morrell, Richard (LaDonna) Morrell, Maurice (LaKeesha) Morrell, Dominic Morrell, Tony Keys, JaVelle Redmond, Brandon Turner and Darnell (Kyler) Redmond; one aunt, Senia Wheeler of Racine, Wisconsin; many other cousins, relatives and friends.
The family would like to express special thanks to the entire McIntyre Family, Paradise Funeral Chapel & Arrangement Services, Galilee Baptist Church, Silver Leaf Lodge of Capital City Temple and the medical staff at McLaren-Greater Lansing Hospital for the care given to Jackie. Our sincere appreciation to all others for your words of comfort, prayers, kind thoughts, or other expressions of sympathy. You have greatly contributed to our strength and healing during this time.
