Jacqueline Williams

Our dearly beloved mother, daughter, sister, aunt, grand-daughter and niece, Jacqueline Williams passed away on April 12, 2013 after a lengthy illness at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, Winston-Salem, NC. She was born in Saginaw, Michigan on February 4, 1981 to Wanda Williams and Jackie Rembert. Jacqueline was a resident of Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She was a fighter and knew God wanted her most. Her life, like the butterfly, was symbolized by a frail humanity and represents rebirth in a new life. She obtained her G.E.D. in 2002. She enjoyed spending time with her son and family, cooking and sharing her great sense of humor with others. She leaves behind to cherish her memories her precious son, Jaquon Rayshawn Williams; her parents, J.C. and Wanda Williams; her grandmothers; Ethel M. Williams and Jessie Rembert ,two sisters, Tawanna Williams (Teran Brown) and Velma Williams (Julius Benjamin); two brothers, Jeremy and Terrance Williams; two nephews, Detayveon DMichieal; and a niece, Destiny Williams. She also leaves aunts, Darlene Williams Janice Williams, Brenda Laury, Bettye Williams, Shirley Hinton, Lula Williams and Linda Williams; uncles, James Thompson, Charles Williams, Sheardell Abby, Tom (Jackie) Rembert Jr,, Terry Rembert I. Kenneth (Barbara) Williams, Victor (Cynthia) Rembert, James (Brenda) Rembert,. Collette McQueen. Special cousins include Yasmin and Marcus (Tifany) Williams, Deon (Shavonna) Franklin and Shannon Laury. A special friend Reggie Wright. She was predeceased by her father, Jackie Rembert, uncles, L.T. Rowe, Brady Williams Jr., and Leon Laury Sr, aunts, Debra Roby and Pamela Rembert, grandfathers, Brady Williams Sr. and Tom Rembert Sr., her best friend, Franchesca Gaines. The family would like to express special thanks to University of Michigan Health System, Dr. Hummel of Ann Arbor, Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center Cardiac Care Unit and Dr. Tohan of Winston Salem, North Carolina and a wholehearted thanks to the Williams and Rembert families.
