Jacqulyn Manuel (Lansing)

Ms. Jacqulyn Manuel passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at McLaren Hospital in Lansing, Michigan. Age 53 years. She was born October 24, 1964 the daughter of Ora Calhoun in Lansing, Michigan.

Jackie was a lifelong resident of Lansing. She attended the Lansing School District where she was an Everett High School graduate. Jackie also attended Lansing Community College and Davenport University. She was employed by SA Automotive as an office assistant. Jackie was an out-going, fun loving person who loved to sing, play sports especially shooting pool. She was a member of Learning to Live Ministries. Her smile brightened up every room. Jackie was very family oriented and always fun to be with.

She leaves to cherish her memory, daughter, Tierra D. Manuel-Calhoun; mother, Ora D. Calhoun; sister, Wrenetha Calhoun; niece, Tanika Calhoun; nephews, D’Rico McClure, T’mondre Calhoun and Jordan Clay; great nieces, Cy’nia Rutledge and Demira Fisher; great nephews, Kadrion Matthisen and Cario McClure; 4 aunts, Mary Sledge, Daisy Pate, Delois James and Mildred Nettles; 3 uncles, Jasper Manuel, James Manuel and Tom Manuel; many cousins, other relatives and friends including special friends, Sangria Morrell and Family, C.J. Sikorski, John Christian, Bryanna, Bryan (BJ) and Braydon Coney, Dennis Smith and the SA Automotive Family.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Daisy L. Manuel; aunts, Lucille Williams and Ruthie Flowers; and uncle, Ervin Hall.
