Jaedon Jermaine Odunuga-Evans (Lansing)

PVT/E-1 Jaedon Jermaine Odunuga-Evans, age 20, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, July 12, 2020. He was born July 11, 2000 to Lola Odunuga and Kissadrick Evans.

Jaedon currently lived in Lansing, Michigan. However, he graduated from East Lansing High School, and furthered his education at Lansing Community College. He was a proud member of the Michigan Army National Guards and had enlisted in the Military Policing Divison. Jaedon would always say “I’m going to be a police officer one day”. Jaedon loved spending time with his family and friends. He was a very respectful and charismatic young man. He had a great knack for making people laugh. One of his favorite pastimes was playing video games. He loved sports, his favorite sport was football, and his favorite team was the Pittsburgh Steelers, for which he became one of their biggest and loyal fan beginning at age 3.

Jaedon especially loved spending time with his uncle Lawrence and cousin Antwan, they were inseparable and had a very special bond. He also loved time spent with his girlfriend Jamie, and special friends Justin (aka “J-mack), Kentre, and Asantewa.

Jaedon leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Lola Odunuga, Kissadrick (Tamekia) Evans; 3 sisters, Brianna, Naomi, and Ruth Evans; 2 brothers, Jeremiah and Julius Evans; grand-parents, Abraham and Mary Odunuga, Marilyn Preston; 4 aunts, Latonya (Mike) Howard, Temea (Kelly) Shropshire, Chyrie Preston, Jamilla Woods; 2 uncles, Lawrence Odunuga, Isaiah Preston; great-grandfather, Eugene Odunuga; great-grandmother, Rosaline Odunuga; great-aunt, Doris Franklin; 5 cousins, Antwan Whitehorn, Rhazha Suttles, Torion Ford, Deveon Gould, London Shropshire; girlfriend, Jamie Dodge; special friends, Justin (aka “J-mack”) Mcabee, Kentre Patterson, and Asantewa Reide; grandparents-in-law, Clanford and Carla Henry.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather Willie Preston, Jr.; aunt Molara Odunuga.
