Mr. Jalon Lamar Tarver passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2023, in Flint, Michigan. Age 29 years. Jalon was born March 28, 1994, in Saginaw, Michigan, to Monyette Hatter, Jason Tarver, and Alina Cannon.
Jalon was a member of Messiah Missionary Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Saginaw High Class of 2013. After graduation, Jalon served in the United States Army. He was employed by Matrix Trucking. Jalon “Spade” was a Night Rider, Flint Chapter member. He loved basketball, dancing, all music, and telling stale jokes. He was also the mix master of drinks. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Jalon leaves to cherish his memory three daughters, Ryanne and Jai'Lynn Tarver, and Naomi Moore; parents, Monyette Hatter, Jason Tarver, and Alina Cannon; goddaughter, Justyce Southward; grandparents, Althea (Robert) Davis, Dorothy, and Eddie Tarver; siblings, Ciara Cannon, Jayla, Savannah, Keohnae and Treohntae Hatter, Jason, Jackson, and Bianca Tarver; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; aunts, Kendra Hatter, Toneen Barrett, Keyion Johnson, Tiawana Smith; uncles, Cory Wilson, and Andrew Reed; godfather, Gary Johnson; many other relatives and friends including special friends, Timothy Holden, Deon Flemmings, Saige Frazier, Demond Simmons, Sergeant Josh McCoy, Darius Lake, and his very special friend, Champagne Caldwell.
Jalon was preceded in death by his grandparents, Andrew Buell, and Pauline Jones, great-grandparents, Annie Nelson, and Mary Grant, uncles, Reginald Tarver, and Dontaye Hatter.
