Jamar D. Brown, Jr. (Lansing)

Mr. Jamar Demaine Brown passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at University of Michigan Health – Sparrow in Lansing, Michigan. Age 18 years old. He was born on Thursday, June 29, 2006, in Lansing, Michigan, the son of Jamar Demaine Brown, Sr. and Bathsheba Mary Snead.

Jamar was a very special young man. He was smart, loving and caring. Jamar was a great son, brother, uncle and cousin to many. He was a protector of his family and always checked on his Mom and Dad. He loved all of his brothers, sisters and nieces. Jamar was our Angel here on earth.

Jamar loved his DVDs—all kinds—but, preferably, Paramount. He also loved his electronics; his games and toys—especially Jimmy Neutron.

Jamar will be greatly missed forever and ever by his family and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Jamar leaves to cherish his memory, his parents, Jamar Demaine Brown, Sr. and Bathsheba Mary Snead; sisters, Dajanea Shantwnquic Williams and Shaymea Regina Brown; brothers, Aden Cash Brown, Taj Platinum Brown, Dijuan Edreese Dawon Williams; nieces, Lavender Williams, Violet Williams and Fuchsia Williams; aunts, Samaria Smith and Vennicia Brown “Nene”; uncles, Frank Snead, Scott Snead, Daniel Sneed, Mike Smith, Bill Smith and David Dion Brown; and an array of cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Rosemary West, Frank Snead, Sr., Cecilia Ann McCraken and Jerome Jones, and uncle, Darwin Smith.
