Jamar Lc Conerly

Mr. Jamar LC Conerly was called home on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at Covenant Hospital at the age of 38 years. He was born on October 30, 1985, at Saginaw General Hospital in Saginaw, Michigan, to Janice Monroe and Napoleon Conerly Jr.

Jamar attended Greater Emmanuel Church Church of God in Christ in Detroit, Michigan, under Bishop J. Drew Sheard. After completing high school, Jamar pursued a skilled trade in Carpentry. On June 17, 2023, he married the love of his life, Lorraine Conerly.

Jamar was employed at CMI Plant where he was known as “Youngin.” He played football at Saginaw High and Buena Vista High Schools. Jamar loved to play cards and build and remodel homes. He enjoyed watching wrestling, and listening to music; his favorite pastime was making money in many ways others wouldn’t think about. He also loved being around family and friends, enjoying life, and taking trips with his lovely wife.

Jamar leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife, Lorraine Theresa Conerly; two children, Isaiah Johns and Kaleb Pietras; goddaughter, Makaela; mother, Janice Monroe; grandmother, Johnnie Mae Essex; brothers, Napoleon Conerly III, Bobby Conerly, Lavelle Conerly, and Napoleon Quincy Conerly; sisters, Noradrain (Kia) Pierson, Lakesha Essex, Crystal (Rodney) Sweeney, Kenya Crayton, and Lakeisha Conerly; Jamar also leaves in-laws; Richard Halliburton, Roy Angaino, Micheal Halliburton, Tony Watkins, Georgia Williams, Joyce Ingram, and Sherri Williams; special cousins, Malcolm Davis, Demarcus and Terrel Ducre II; special brothers, Samuel Richardson, and Walter Curly; many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles, other relatives and friends.

Jamar was preceded in death by his dad, Napoleon Conerly Jr. “June Bug;” mother-in-law, Victoria Pietras; grandmother, Celleansten Ducre; grandfathers, Napoleon Conerly Sr. and Tommie Lee Essex; great-grandmother, Rosie Ducre; special uncle, Ronnie Essex, special brother, Kimble Turner; brother-in-law, Deshaun Dupree; and many other relatives and friends.
