Jamarr Pruitt

Jamarr D. Pruitt passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2014. He was born February 21, 1992 in Flint, Michigan to Sherita M. Olive-Turner and Kenneth D. Pruitt.
Jamarr received his formal education from the Lansing School District and graduated from Everett High School. He was employed by Peckham Vocational School. Jamarr was known to his family and friends as IPod/Tza. Jamarr loved his family and had a passion for sports where he received many awards and metals. His favorite sport was basketball. Jamarr enjoyed volunteering at North Elementary School where he read stories to the kindergarten class. Jamarr loved reading and playing his X Box. His favorite word was Awesome. Jamarr was a very compassionate young man and full of life.
Jamarr leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Sherita M. (Alfred) Olive-Turner; father, Kenneth D Pruitt; a loving devoted companion, Maureen McKay; three step children, Carisah and Xavier Turner, Baby Isiah; two brothers, Qante Works and Kenneth D Pruitt; two sisters, Sheritha Olive and Brittney Olive; five aunts; six uncles; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives including his special friends, Coach Smith, Meglasing Harris, Quentin Owens, Lamarr Rosario, Lionel Townsend Jr. and Marquese Cox.
Jamarr was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Emajean Olive and Edith Pruitt.
