Jamel Deron Corley Sr. (Cujo)

Mr. Jamel Deron Corley Sr. (Cujo) our beloved son, father, grandfather and brother went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 10, 2014 with family and friends by his side. Jamel was born December 1, 1973 in Saginaw, Michigan to Yvonne Corley and Harold Lee.
Jamel attended Saginaw High and Buena Vista schools. He was baptized at Truevine Baptist Church under the leadership of his grandfather, Pastor Robert B. Corley Sr. He later joined Prince of Peace Baptist Church under the leadership of his uncle, Pastor Robert B. Corley Jr. Jamel loved music, he enjoyed cutting hair and technology. He will be missed by everyone that knew and loved him.
His memory will be cherished by his two children, Jasmine (Ben) Childress, Saginaw, Michigan, Jamel Corley Jr., Flint, Michigan; two grandchildren, Elijah Corley and Chase Childress; parents, Yvonne Corley and Harold Lee both of Saginaw, Michigan; two sisters, Latasha Corley, Sharmika Corley, both of Saginaw, Michigan; four nieces and nephews, Demario, Jordyn and August Corley, and Delvon Works Jr; aunts and uncles, Pastor Robert B. (Jannis) Corley Jr., McArthur (Dorothy) Corley, Mary Francis Champion, all of Saginaw, Michigan, Frederick (Rhonda) Lee Sr., St. Louis, Missosuri, Elliot Lee, Atlanta, Georgia; many other relatives and friends including very special cousins, Tammara, Ebony, Rasheda Corley, Saginaw, Michigan, Martisha, Vanessa, Candice and James Scott of Aiken, South Carolina, Demetrius Scott, Defiance, Ohio; God-brother, Derrick Voltz Jr.; special friends, Ennix Buchanan, Minister Jason Ware, Tyrone Dobson, Coby Smith, Dwayne Hardy, Leslie Doster and MyKing Smith.
Jamel was preceded in death by one son, JaQuavis Washington; grandparents, Pastor Robert and Ella Corley Sr., Jennie Mae Lee; one niece, Akila Corley.
