James B. Harris, Jr.

Mr. James B. Harris, Jr. “BAMM”, was born in Selma, Alabama on June 2, 1974 to James and Barbara Harris. He departed this life on October 20, 2018 at the age of forty-four years.

James was a student of Saginaw Public Schools. He was employed with Hi-tech Steel Treating, Inc. for many years before he was unable to work due to his illness. Before James made his transition, he accepted Christ into his life and he is now healed and whole, resting in his Savior’s arms.

BAMM was a family man and enjoyed spending time with his family more than anything. He enjoyed being on the water and fishing, reading and cooking. He was a loving father, son, brother, uncle and friend. He will be missed but never forgotten.

James was preceded in death by his grandparents James and Essie Mae Grisham England, John Henry and Dorothy Harris.

He leaves to cherish his memory daughter, Jordyn Sabrena Logan; special friend, Kimberly Anderson; two mothers, Barbara Grisham, Annie Fields Jacque (Michael); father, James Harris, Sr.; sister, Yolanda (Larry) White; brothers, Delbree, Damien Harris; aunts, Annie Fields, Jacque (Michael), Wytina (Percy) Walker, Phyllis England, Consetta England; uncles, Jesse (Dorita) England, Terry (Mae) Grisham, Douglas (Evangerline) Perkins, Morris Perkins; nieces, SheKinah Smiley (Samson), Christian White, Kira Harris, Jarmise Fields, Kimberly Fields, Lashun Jackson; many other relatives and friends.
