James Bland, Jr.

Mr. James Henry Bland, Jr. was born November 23, 1956 in Saginaw, Michigan, the son of James Henry Bland, Sr. and Vera Farrow. He went home to be with the Lord on October 19, 2020 at the age of 63 years.

James was a member of New Generation Church in Saginaw, Michigan. He enjoyed fishing, car shows, yard work, cleaning his cars and watching westerns. Most importantly, he enjoyed spending time with his family who will truly miss him.

James was preceded in death by a son, James Keys; parents, James Bland, Sr. and Vera Farrow; sisters, Carmen Whittion, Traci Farrow, Patricia Works; grandparents, Susie Johnson, Mr. & Mrs. Willie Bland; father and mother-in-law, Joe and Betty Ferguson; brother-in-law, John Ferguson.

He leaves precious memories with his loving wife, Betty Joe Bland; children, Davina, Ny’Asia, Jessie, Joe’Von Ferguson, Tasha, Jamie, Shatell, Shalamar, Jennifer, Jamesha, Chanel, Jasmine, Krystal, James, Keyontae; stepchildren, Deontae, Deondria, Darian Ferguson, Trina, Jeana; sisters, Annie Farrow, Shirley Prince, Stacey and Deadra Bond; brothers, Curtis Farrow, David Bland, Gary, Michael, Martin, Reginald Bond; sister-in-law, Alga Jones; brothers-in-law, Kenneth Ferguson, Jerry Prince, Dave Whittington, Sherman Byrd; many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other loved ones and friends.
