James Bracey

Mr. James Edward Bracey passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center. Age 66 years. He was born December 19, 1946 in Bishopville, South Carolina to Leola Bracey and Ben Pearson.
James had been a resident of Saginaw, Michigan since the year 2000. He joined the United States Army in 1966 and received an honorable discharge in 1968. His presence will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He leaves to cherish his memory three brothers, Eugene (Marilyn) Bracey of North Carolina, Isiah (Pearly) Bracey and Leo (Bertha) Bracey, both of Saginaw, Michigan; one sister-in-law, Mary Bracey; several nieces and nephews; many other relatives and friends including a special friend, Minnie.
James was preceded in death by his parents, Leola Hardin and Ben Pearson, stepfather, Jake Hardin, two sisters, Lizzie Mae Reames and Ada Cook, seven brothers, Leroy, Willie, Rob and Samuel Bracey, William, Kelly and Anderson Pearson. The family wishes to express special thanks to the Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center staff, Laverne Bryant, Anthony Dent and special friend, Minnie.
