James Bridgeman (Lansing)

Mr. James Henry Bridgeman passed away Monday, February 25, 2019 at the Hospice House of Mid-Michigan in Lansing, Michigan. Age 71 years. He was born November 21, 1947 to parents Marshall Bridgeman and Margaret Higgs in Greenfield, Tennessee.

James was a resident of Lansing, Michigan for 19 years. His passions were singing, fishing, playing dominoes, and watching old western movies. James occupation was a cement finisher. He was a very hard loyal worker until he sustained an injury and was no longer able to work. James loved telling jokes, but most of all he loved his family. His family meant the world to him. He will be greatly missed.

James leaves to cherish his memory his spouse of 53 years, Ann Bridgeman; four daughters, Lynda Hall (Johnny) of Belvidere, Illinois, Brenda Malone, Tabbitha Bridgeman, both of Lansing, Michigan, Katrina Malone of Hoffman Estates, Illinois; three sons, Michael Malone, of Elgin, Illinois, Anthony Malone, of Lansing, Michigan, Timothy Jordan, of Erie, Pennsylvania; one step-daughter, Dianne Bridgeman; thirteen grandchildren, Jameka Kilberts, Jarrell Malone, Tameka Malone-Sharp, Ebony Malone, Charrie Johnson, Juaneka Malone, Jasmine Tucker, Kelvin Lash, Shanequia Bridgeman, Kasandra Malone, Demtrius Malone, Dominique Joy, Keyatia Rush; three step-grandchildren, Nikki Bridgeman, Shetoan Coates, Jr., Aviance Bridgeman; thirty-five great-grandchildren; one sister, Marriane Roper; two brothers, Harold (Gloria) Bridgeman, James Edward (Gloria) Bridgeman; one sister-in-law, Jean Jones; one brother-in-law, Larry Malone; special friend, Harvey Jackson, and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Carol Bridgeman; sister, Martha Bridgeman; great grandsons, Curtis Glast, Brandon Taylor, special cousin, Franklin Delano Higgs.
