Mr. James M. Cooper answered the quiet voice of the Lord and departed this life and entered heavens gates on Friday, December 23, 2011. Age 58 years. He was born April 20, 1953 in Saginaw, Michigan to Mitt W. Cooper and Lessie M. Cooper. James was a life long resident of Saginaw where he attended Saginaw Schools. He was a member of Gods Harvest Center. He was employed as a chef for 17 years at Roys Steak House. James enjoyed his family, cookouts, fishing, music and watching the cooking channel.
He leaves to cherish his memories one son, Leshone W. Bowie; five step-children; a granddaughter who was the love of his life, Neveah Bowie; four sisters, Vanessa Cooper, Delphine Cooper, Claudette Young and Kathleen (Charles) Cooper-Dottery; one brother, Mitt W. (Faridha) Cooper, Detroit, Michigan; his soul mate, Vivian Dottery-Walker; three god-mothers, Maxine Douglass, Barbara Reed, Claudia Cooper; three god-children, Davette McMurren, Kialonee and Delmond Bowie; too many nieces and nephews and a whole lotta great nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other family members best friends, J.W. Gray, Pat Henderson, Bruce Taylor.
