James Curry

Mr. James Curry passed away on Friday, September 27, 2024, in Defiance, Ohio. Age 71 years. He was born November 6, 1952, in Lewisville, Alabama, to Bennie J. and Mary Alice Curry.

James, a 1971 graduate from Saginaw High School, was a resident of Holgate, Ohio. He was employed by General Motors for 35 years. James attended Galilee Baptist Church in Defiance, Ohio. He loved the Lord and served Him faithfully. In his leisure time, James enjoyed fishing.

James will be lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Suzette R. Curry; daughter, Shawnda Hill, and sons, Jayson Hill and James E. Curry, Jr.; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; four sisters, Katie, Mary, LaVerne, and Peggy Curry; two brothers, Bill and Robert Curry; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives friends, and special friends. James also leaves a special granddaughter, Ceiara Manuel.

James was preceded in death by his parents, Bennie J. and Mary Alice Curry.
