Mr. James Edward Ganter was born March 26, 1968 in Calion, Arkansas, the son of Ernest Flowers and Bettie Earley. He completed his earthly journey on Thursday, August 13, 2020 at the age of 52 years.
James was a student of Buena Vista Public Schools. He attended both Buena Vista and Swan Valley High Schools. He was a student athlete that excelled in football and track. James received several awards and scholarships for his athletic prowess.
A lover of good and a self-proclaimed chef, James had a special gift for cleaning chitterlings, along with his brother Derrick. He loved to spend time with his family and friends, and he always wanted to do the cooking so he could brag about how good it was. James had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to make other laugh and tell jokes. His joy for life and love for family will truly be missed.
James was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Flowers and Bettie Earley; grandson, Anthonio Dominguez-Wiley; brother, Cornelius Flowers; grandmother, Willie Ruth Hart; grandfather, James Earley, Sr.; aunt, Janice O’Daniels; uncle, Larry Irvin.
He leaves precious memories with three children, Jar’vara (Armon) Murphy, Jamaar (Alisha) Garth, both of Saginaw, Michigan, Danielle Dominguez, Dallas, Texas; stepchildren, Patrick Washington, Jr., Aleshia and Miraha Huff; grandchildren, Antonia Buford, London Buford, D’onnice Ezell, all of Dallas, Texas, Jayel, Michael, Ariana Garth, Curley Beavers, Armontae, Armonii Murphy, Dezmonds, Avannah, Aryellah, Aaliyah, Armony, Amorah, Savannah, all of Saginaw, Michigan; sisters, Shirley, Odessa, Joan, Lisa, Vicky, Annette Flowers; brothers, Derrick (Carolyn) Earley, Ernest and Clarence (Yvonne) Flowers; special niece, Savannah Washington; aunts, Hazel Irvin, Belinda, Joe, Adell, Debra, Diane, Willene Earley; uncles, Donnie, James Jr., Daniel, Stephen Earley; father figure, Thomas McKinney; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends, including special cousins Deborah Gibson, Tredis O’Daniels, Kentell O’Daniels, Harry L. Taylor and special friends Theresa Benavides, Paul Moncivias, Angelo Benavides, NeKiya Chism, Rosas Benavides, Tiffany and Barbara Huff.
