Mr. James Earl Peoples passed away on Friday, September 2, 2022, at the home of his loyal sister. Age 53 years. James was born June 28, 1969, in Grace, Mississippi, to Louis Peoples Sr., and Jerri Dean Sims.
James loved Cadillac and Caprice cars and spending time with his baby boy, and grandchildren. He also enjoyed cooking, chewing (as he would say), and having a good time. James had a big heart filled with genuine love; he would feed any and everyone if he could. He was the kind of person that would be tough on you and show you love at the same time, especially if he loved you.
James leaves to cherish his memory, 5 sons and 4 daughters, James, Aletha, and Izona McFee, Shateshia, and Jamarques Robinson, Alize, and Armani Peoples, Damarcus Young, and Jamal Faison; 3 stepchildren, Terrance McFee, Sheila Craten, and I'reoina Greene; 4 sisters, and 3 brothers, Patricia Sims (Anthony) Jackson, Antonia, Aletha, Khadijah, Joseph, and Louis Peoples Jr., and Willie Sims; 12 grandchildren, Sha'dareona, Adraiona, Decorian, Diallo, Adin, Adrian, Nova, Sava, Dream, Tristen, Joseph, and Zaria; nephews, and nieces, Tasha, Tiffanie, Kenneth and Jamell Sims, Carrietta Durham, Veronica, Lattice, Charlie, Marco, Gloria, Kesha, Saquita, and Oshay Peoples, Niaisha, Jamika, Patricia Donald, and Irene Crayton; uncles, L.C. Molett, Ray Sims Jr., Willie, Charles, Henry, and Robert Peoples; aunts, Beulah Tucker, Lois Sims, Isabella (Arthur)Campbell, Shirley, and Sue Rogers; cousins, Jerry, Eddie Jr., Bobby Sims, Fred Rogers; godson, Steve Adams; stepmother, Levada Peoples; stepsisters, Shantell Sanders, and Angela Tate; special friends Peewee, Tameka, Fenlia, Frances, Eric, Billy, and Rabbit.
James was preceded in death by his parents, Jerri Dean Butler, and Louis Peoples Sr.; aunts, Lizzy, Lisa, and Bertha Peoples, and Betty O’Neal; uncles, Amos, Earl, George, and Fred Peoples, Eddie Sims Sr, and Lee Chester; grandparents, Rosie, and Frank Peoples, Alberta Booker, and Ray Sims Sr.
