James Hunt passed away Thursday, March 8, 2012 at Sparrow Health System. Age 46 years. He was born July 13, 1965 in Saginaw, Michigan to Jim and Margaret Hunt.
James was a resident of Lansing, Michigan where he was a member of Lansing Church of God in Christ. He was a graduate of Ruben Daniels High School. James was employed at Target and Walmart for over 20 years. He enjoyed dancing, old movies, magic and Michael Jackson pop culture and trivia. James loved his family, spending time working on his music and movie projects. Even though he was a private man, all who knew him loved him and he felt the same. He will be missed.
He leaves to cherish his memory two daughters, Katelin S.A. Metzger, Charlize R. Metzger; two sons, Jeston Calhoun, Anthony W.Metzger; his parents, Jim and Margaret Hunt; five sisters, Angela (Demetrius) Adams, Margarita Hunt (Clendon), Lisa Hunt, Stacy Hunt (Anthony), Sonya (Shun) Waites, all of Gadsden, Alabama; two brothers, Tracy (Erica) Hunt, Sylvanus (Selena) Hunt, both of Gadsden, Alabama; ten nieces, Aisha, Ashley, Sabanna, Londena, Antanae, Antaniyah, Sakira, Aniyah, Syltavia, Asharueah; ten nephews, Joseph, Tyler, Thaddeus, LaSamuel, Sergeo, Otis, Aley, Ahmad, Gerald Jr., Dequontorian; one great-niece, Ziyah; one great-nephew, Kahili; two aunts, Jimmie (Howard) Mosby, Sylvia Turner; one uncle, Riddel (Sarah) Barrett Jr.; many other relatives and friends including a special uncle and best friend, Douglas Hunt.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Riddel and Virginia Barrett; one uncle, James Barrett.
