James Jr. (Lansing) Mildton

James Henry Mildton, Jr., passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at the Pines Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Lansing, Michigan. Age 60 years. James was born to James and Dorothy Mildton, Sr. on November 23, 1956 in Lansing, Michigan.
He was a graduate of Lansing Harry Hill High School. During his life he worked at Fisher Body and as a Tree Climber for the Lansing Board of Water & Light. James married Denise Logan on June 3, 2000 in Nashville, TN.
James is survived by his wife Denise; three children, Lashonda Hursey, Nakinah Bonds and Niesha Nixon; mother, Dorothy Mildton; brother, Victor Craig Mildton; uncle Tommy (Ethel) Culpepper; aunt Annie Mae Alexander; special cousin Fanny Branklyn; nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
James was preceded in death by his father, James Mildton, Sr. and his sisters, Sabrina Scott Twitty and Priscilla Byrd.
