Mr. James Kelvin Goss passed away Friday, July 12, 2019 at Beaumont Hospital in Farmington Hills, Michigan. Age 49 years. He was born February 17, 1970 to Willie James and Wonnie L. Goss in Lansing, Michigan.
James graduated from J. W. Sexton High School in 1988. He eagerly joined the United States Marine Corps shortly after and served our Country honorably until March 1996. James had a passion for cooking and wrote many letters to his family and friends. He had a big heart, gave generously to the American Red Cross, Volunteers of America, St. Jude, Salvation Army and the Food Bank. Many of James’ family and friends will recall that he was the life of the party. People really loved to be around him.
Kelvin, as he was called by many, was a caring person especially when it came to his Mother. He took great care of his Mother; taking her to her doctor appointments, even when she didn’t want to go. Kelvin was a caring father and brother. He also loved Fannie and they took care of one another for several years. Lastly, Kelvin loved his four-legged companion, GiGi. He often told how GiGi saved his life one time.
