James "Wolf" Thompson (Lansing)

December 25, 1972 — November 10, 2019

Mr. James Lewis “Wolf” Thompson answered the call, early on the morning of November 10, 2019, at the age of forty-six years. God sent an Angel to greet him and he went home to be with the Lord. He was born on December 25, 1972 in Camden, Alabama to Willie and Annie Thompson.

James was an outstanding cook working for Michigan State University Kellogg Center and local family owned restaurant Falsetto’s Casanova. He also enjoyed working on automobiles and loved car racing. To most of his family and friends he was known as “Wolf and “Goldmouth. After being together for twelve years, he married the love of his life, Felicia Peete on July 6, 2018 . She was grateful to have been his wife for one year and 5 months.

He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife, Felicia Thompson, six children, daughter, LaKendria Jackson; five sons, Jamarlon Jackson, Jaquan Jackson, Jamari Peete, Derrmar Lewis, Jr., and Kyree Lewis; six siblings, one sister, Shirley Thompson; six brothers, Larry (Rita) Thompson, Rick (Sharon) Thompson, Mark (Mel) Thompson, Ron Thompson, Willie Thompson, and Eddie Hunter; mother and father-in-law, Melvin and Martha Peete; sister-in-law, Andrea Nicole (Kenneth) Mathis; brother-in-law, Jordan Peete; and many nieces, nephews, aunts uncles, cousins and friends including special friend, James Kindall.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Willie Lee and Annie Lee Thompson;
aunts, Willie Ann Wilson, Ruby Lee and Maggie Thompson, Mamie and Rachel Lee Manzie; and uncles, Rufus Thompson, Jr., Elliott Thompson, Dan Thompson and Bobby Thompson.
