Jana Williams

Mrs. Jana D. Williams went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 2, 2009. Age 44 years. She was born on January 21, 1965 in Saginaw, MI to the late Phyllis K. McKinney and the late John E. McKinney.
Jana was a member of New Life Full Gospel Church where Bishop Zachary Williamson is the Pastor. She graduated from Saginaw High School in 1983 and was previously employed with Wickes Library and Saginaw General Hospital. She devoted her life to raising her children, enjoyed talking, laughing, watching television, crocheting and most of all spending time with family and friends.
She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved husband, Robert Williams Jr. (Saginaw, MI); daughter, Whitney S. Franklin (Flint, MI); son, WenZell D. Franklin (Saginaw, MI); step-children, Darian and Chimere Clark (Chicago, IL); her loving and devoted grandmother, Nadine Anderson (Saginaw, MI); brother, John Tyler McKinney (Saginaw, MI); sister, Janyse (Anthony) Smith (Detroit, MI); nieces, Janae and Jaelynn McKinney (Detroit, MI); nephews, John JT McKinney Jr. (Saginaw, MI), Jovon McKinney (Saginaw, MI), Justin McKinney (Saginaw, MI) and Anthony Jordan Smith (Detroit, MI); many aunts, including special aunts, Valarie Hill (Southfield, MI), Aleatha Dutches Anderson (Saginaw, MI), Lillie Hoggs (Saginaw, MI) and Beverly McKinney (Ann Arbor, MI); many uncles, including special uncles, Gilbert Anderson (Saginaw, MI), Kenny (Barbara) Ward (Saginaw, MI), Claude (Bobbie) McKinney (Saginaw, MI), Will (Sandra) McKinney (Saginaw, MI), Tommy McKinney (Saginaw, MI) and David McKinney (Southfield, MI); many cousins, including special cousins, Tracy Vaughn (Southfield, MI), Diamond Russell (Saginaw, MI) and Johntrell Anderson (Saginaw, MI); god-mother, Ingrid Barkley (Lansing, MI); god-daughters, Dorothea Peachez Cork (Saginaw, MI) and Tamika Davis (Saginaw, MI); many friends, including special friends, Shelia Austin (Saginaw, MI), Ava Flood (Saginaw, MI) and Bobby Allen (Saginaw, MI); and a special family friend, Angelis Beavers (Saginaw, MI).
She was preceded in death by her parents; grandfather, John W. Anderson; uncles, Ralph Barney and Wendell Anderson; and cousin, Edwin Hill.
