Jane Jones (Lansing)

Mrs. Jane April Jones (VanBuren) passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2025, in Lansing, Michigan. Age 61 years. Jane was born April 1, 1963, to Hollis and Ruth (Stowell) VanBuren, in Harrison, Michigan.

Jane was a manager for Don’s Windmill Truck stop for several years. She loved unicorns and enjoyed watching Daytime Soaps. Jane also loved spending her time with her grandchildren. She was the person everyone went to for help when they lost a loved one.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Hollis and Ruth (Stowell) VanBuren; brothers, Thomas, Harris, Carl, Mark, Robert, and Joe; sisters, Sue, Marsha, and Patricia; and grandson, Daniel.

Jane leaves to cherish her memory, husband of 37 years, Donald “Pancho” Jones; children, Tommy (Jaimie) VanBuren, Crystal (James) Salisbury, Robert (Jenny) Jones, Jessie (Christy) Jones, and Ryan (Mariah) Jones; grandchildren, Amelia (Adam), Dillon, Jasmine (Curtez), Devin (Deven), Megan, Carmen, Marissa (Cole), Ian, Karrina, Landon, Chloe, Brianna, Andrew, Leelan, Mya, Mia, Emery, Chevelle, Ny ’Leigha and Ana ‘Leigha, with 2 more on the way; great grandchild, Marcie; brother, Wilson (Pat) VanBuren; and many more family and friends.
