Our beloved angel, Jannette Snead went home to be with the Lord on November 1, 2013 at St. Mary?s of Michigan at the young age of 60 years old. Janette Peterson was born on July 1, 1953 in Montgomery, Alabama to Mary Ruth Peterson and Jet Pickett.
Janette and her family moved to Saginaw, Michigan in 1974. After relocating to Saginaw, Michigan she married her husband Frank Snead. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and hanging out with family and friends. Jannette will be remembered for her strong sense of humor and her heart of gold. If she wasn?t cooking or cleaning, she was in her space listening to her music. Janette was the kind of person who would lend a helping hand to anyone. She was a beloved mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and dear friend to many. Even if she didn?t have it, she always made a way. Her presence will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She leaves to cherish her precious memory three children, Tabitha (Willie Lyles) Martin, James Peterson Sr. and Deondrae Peterson, all of Saginaw, Michigan; two sisters, her twin, Janice West and Venessa Peterson, both of Saginaw, Michigan; four brothers, Alfred Peterson, Roderick Peterson, Karl Peterson Sr. and Victor Peterson, all of Saginaw, Michigan; ten grandchildren, Tenesha Peterson of Hopewell, Virginia, Lakisha (Mario) Humes of Lansing, Michigan, Anthony Peterson, Drevon Long, Faith Martin, James Peterson Jr., My? Angel Peterson, Jamieon Peterson, Jeremiah Anguiano and Andrea Peterson, all of Saginaw, Michigan; two great-grandchildren, Landen Ruffin of Hopewell, Virginia and Mario Humes Jr. of Lansing, Michigan; several nieces, nephews and many dear friends including special friends, James Chapman, Peggy Mitchell, Jeroma Henix, Sharry Jones and Lacreshia Cooper.
Jannette was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Snead, her mother and father, Mary Ruth Peterson and Jet Pickett, three brothers, Willie B. Peterson, Charles Peterson Sr. and Jessie James Peterson, one sister, Deborah Ann Peterson, two special friends, Berta Matthews and Lucille Haynes.
The family wishes to express special thanks to Monique Williams, Roy Patton, the staff of Roy's AFC, staff of Jayden Owens CLS and the staff of Epicenter of Worship.
