Ms. Jannie Lucretia McGhee passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at her residence. Age 82 years. She was born on February 18, 1935 in Mobile, Alabama to Thomas and Annie Robinson.
Ms. McGhee was a resident of Saginaw. She was employed at Vlasic Pickles. Jannie enjoyed listening to gospel music, spending time with her family, and going to church when she was able. She will be truly missed by her family who loved her dearly.
She leaves to cherish loving memories one son, Thomas McGhee, Saginaw, Michigan; grandchildren, Renea Spain, Vaneta Lindsey, Cheryl and Antione Lee, Ramon Keels, Saginaw, Michigan, Tosha Swilley Sykes, Fayetteville, North Carolina, La’Shonda Lindsey, Flint, Michigan, Chyna Everett, Atlanta, Georgia, Shane (Jessica) Bates, Lamar Bates and Shaneequa McGhee, Bay City, Michigan; 35 great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren; three brothers, Cornelius (Shirley) Jordan, Saginaw, Michigan, Thorner and Samuel Robinson, Mobile, Alabama; seven nieces, Ann Stinson, Ericka Boyd, Janay and Terri-Lynn Lamar, Brianna Jordan, special nieces, Marion Donald and Keyvia Mixon; special great-nieces, DeShannon Henry and Monica Stinson, nephews, Johnnie Jackson, Terrence and Afton Jordan; special nephew, Pastor Charles Dallas; many nieces and nephews on the McGhee side who were dear to her heart as well; her babies that visited her often, Camauriae Mixon and Riyan Menzie; many cousins; one brother-in-law, Leon Mixon; special friends, Teresa Mixon, Larry (Yolonda) Mixon, the Lindsey, Swilley and Goodman families, Terry Boyd Shaw and Jessie Miller.
Ms. McGhee was preceded in death by her husband, William McGhee Jr.; two sons, William III and Duane McGhee; parents, Annie and Johnnie Jordan; biological father, Thomas Robinson; grandmother, Jannie Connerly; one great-grandson, Kaleb Cameron; sisters, Delores Beech and Loletha Jordan; long-time companion, James Williams; nieces, Whelimina Lewis, Linda Jackson, Tanya Hoggs; nephews, Terry Weaver, Garfield Lawson and Marcus Williams.
