Jarvis Napoleon Young, Sr.

Jarvis Napoleon Young, Sr. passed away Monday, May 23, 2016 at Covenant Healthcare-Cooper. He was born December 10, 1967 to James Henry Young, Sr., and Catherine Young in Saginaw, Michigan.
Jarvis accepted Christ at an early age. He loved to visit various churches where he enjoyed the fellowship and worship services. Jarvis was currently employed at General Motors Truck and Bus in Flint, Michigan with more than twenty years of service. He also loved fishing with his mother, Cat, brother, Poncho and cousins, John Swag and H.D. Sims. Jarvis enjoyed music, playing pool, laughing and telling jokes and spending time with family and friends. Jarvis will be forever LOVED and MISSED by all who knew and loved him! R.I.P. Tops!!
He leaves to cherish his memory two sons, Quintel (Akira) Young, Jarvis Napoleon Young, Jr. (Veronica Rodriguez); the love of his life, Marilyn Coleman; parents, Catherine Young, James Henry (Gale) Young, Sr.; two grandchildren, Mellony Young, Amaya Griffin, and soon to arrive grandson, Jarvis Napoleon Young, III; four sisters, Donald Gail, Rochester, New York, Felton Wilborn, Taylor, Texas, Lashell and Rachell Young, Saginaw, Michigan; two brothers, James Henry Young, Jr. (Shirley Land); Jason (Jacqueline) Young, Sr; one aunt, Cora Swearengen, Saginaw, Michigan; seven nephews, Cortez Owens, Jason Young, Jr., Terrance Cooper, Jr., Edwin, Lovelace, Armon and Isaac; nine nieces, Katoria, Kathleen, Arrionna, Nasaj, Kya, Tiah, Jackie, Patrice and Andrea; theBrother to Brother of all Brothers, Daryl Bond.
Jarvis was preceded in death by his grandparents, Johnny (Bertha) Young, Sr.; one brother, Delton L. Young; uncles, Percy Jakes, Eddie Jakes, Freddie Jakes, Johnnie Young, Jr., and Jerome Young; aunts, Annie Ruth Brown, Rebecca Clemons, Dorothy Ware, Moroline Greenlee, Mary Lue Gloss and Odessa Sims.
