Jason T. Green Sr. was born on January 18, 1970 in Saginaw, Michigan to Johnnie Jr. and Geraldine Green. His name was called to be in Heaven on Monday, July 19, 2021 at the age of 51 years.
Jason, known as "Jay," "Jay Pooh" and "Jigga", resided in Buena Vista Township and moved to the city limits of Saginaw later in life until his homegoing to be with our heavenly father and all the saints in Heaven. He was a very devoted, loving, protective, selfless Son, Grandson, Brother, Father, Uncle, Nephew, Cousin and Friend. If you needed Jay he was there for you and always gave 200 percent of himself to what was asked of him.
Jay loved hard and his loyalty was unmatched. He spoke with truth and conviction when he would talk with you, and you had to respect it. Riding on two wheels was his first love, from 10 speeds to Hayabusas, riding wheelies, racing, and doing holeshots. Jay will be deeply missed by so many, especially his Mother and Big Sister.
Jason was preceded in death by his grandparents, James E. and Christabel Woodson, Gerald and Annie Mitchell, Johnnie H. and Sava Green; sisters, Sheryl J. Green-Burns, Shalan A. Williams; great-grandmothers, Josephine Pettiford, Willa Barrett; uncle, Jimmie T. Green.
He is survived by four children, Marvel D. Jones-Green, Jason T. Jr., Ja'Juan Q. Sr., and Jaylon D. Green; grandchildren, Jayceon, Javell, Ja'Juan Q. Jr., Royalty and Jason T. Green III; parents, Johnnie Jr. (Carroll) Green and Geraldine (Charles E.) Byrd; siblings, Johnnie III (Linda D.) Green, Christie N. (Paul) Whigham, Dameon J. (Jill) Green; nephews, Jayonn,, Q. Green Jarrin J. Green, Johnnie L. Green IV, Darren L. Richards, Jontae D. Green, Jakeel R. Green, Kenney F. Morris, Jr., Kendell J. Morris, Dontae Brooks, Jovan and Jahrey Green; nieces, Latoya J.E. Samuel, Ashanti S.R. Green, Briattane' (Justin) Williams, Ashlynn (James IV) Parks, Imani J. Burns, Akili J. Burns, Janiaya D.S. Green, Jonisha J.A. Green, Arlesha J. Williams, DeAndrea N. Key, Amaris N. Key, Jileah S. and Arianna R. Green; aunts, Joyce A. Rienner, Shirley A. (Paul) Richardson-Forwerck, Carolyn J. Curry, Loretta (Kenneth) Longuemire and Pamela (Jimmy Sr.) Brooks; first cousins raised as siblings, Elmer T. Jr. and Vannessa C. Curry; many other loved ones and friends.
Jay has many cousins and extended family that are not forgotten, as he did love his family. Tajuana M. Green and his remarkably close cousins that were there in his last days, we want to thank you all, Dione Barrett, Charles Roach "Chucky," Paul A. Rodgers "Paulie", Latrice D. Chandler and Ngai Scott.
