Mr. Jason Aldrick-Demond Mathious passed away on Monday, August 7, 2017 at St. Mary’s of Michigan Medical Center. Age 44 years. He was born on June 26, 1973 in Saginaw, Michigan to Geraldine Green and Larry Rogers.
Jason attended Buena Vista and Saginaw High Schools. He enjoyed working on cars, cooking, music and shooting pool. He will be truly missed by family and friends.
He leaves to cherish his memory one daughter, Mikki Bullock; two sons, Jaquavion and Jason Mathious, Jr.; granddaughter, Bri’elle Mathious; parents, Geraldine Green and Larry Rogers; grandmother, Corrine Rogers; two sisters, Tracie Mathious and Santana Rogers, both of Saginaw, Michigan; four brothers, Eddie R. Sibley, Dion Sibley and Bruce Poindexter, all of Saginaw, Michigan, and Larry McDonald, Grand Rapids, Michigan; many nieces and nephews; five aunts, Brenda Primus, Mary (Richard) Crosby and Willie Mae Rogers, all of Saginaw, Michigan, Mildred (Johnnie) Bradshaw, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Della Simmons, Detroit, Michigan; special aunt, Ruby Jean Vaughn; great-aunt, Johnnie (Rueben) Mathias, Carrollton, Michigan; two uncles, Grover (Sherry) Mathious and Terry Rogers, Saginaw, Michigan; many cousins; many other relatives and friends; special friends, Charles Smithers, Edward Williams, Johnnie Jackson, David Brooks and Lonnie Taylor; a very special friend, Arlinda Baldwin.
Jason was preceded in death by his grandmother, Vernetta D. Mathious; grandfathers, Richard A. Mathious, Sr. and Johnnie Rogers, Sr.; brother, Larry Darnell Mathious; uncles, Richard A. Mathious, Jr., Johnnie Rogers, Jr. and Gary Rogers; great-grandparents; and two special cousins, William Bradshaw and Robert Lee Rogers.
