Mr. Jasper Sentell Jr. peacefully made his transition to eternal peace on Sunday, May 24, 2015 at the age of 88 years. He was born August 20, 1926 in Jefferson, Texas to Jasper and Lilly Mae Sentell.
Jasper retired from General Motors Corporation after over 30 years of faithful service. He enjoyed fishing and traveling. Jasper loved spending time with family and friends. Every now and then he was known to speak the Cajun language. His wonderful presence will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He leaves to cherish his memory three daughters, Stella Ross of Roswell and Regina Sentell-Wesson both of New Mexico and Jacqueline Sentell-Bennett of Columbus, Ohio; one son, Clarence Sentell of Artesia, New Mexico; eight grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren; seven sisters; many other relatives and friends.
Jasper was preceded in death by his parents, Jasper and Lilly Mae Sentell, several brothers and sisters.
The family wishes to express special thanks to Joseph and Linda Jenkins, Dorothy and his friends from the neighborhood.
